Well, I guess I'm late to the game when it comes to Hillbilly Hand Fishing, also known as Noodling.  It works like this - crazy people go out into some murky water, find a catfish hole and proceed to pull out a big, slimy Loch Ness Monster looking thing using only their bare hands (and feet).

Though it's illegal in Minnesota, you can do it in Wisconsin, people travel south just for the privilege and Animal Planet has an entire show dedicated to it. Just watch out for the alligators, they like catfish holes too. So, have you Noodled?
