Jason Aldean's newest album Old Boots, New Dirt is in stores tomorrow.  I got the chance to take a listen over the weekend.  I don't think Jason fans will be disappointed.

I would say this album is reflection of where Jason is at today, after all the drama surrounding his relationship with Brittany Kerr.  If that is a true statement, I would guess he's in a good place.

The album is full of a variety of songs that I believe to speak of his relationship with Brittany.  Just Gettin' Started, Burnin' It Down  and Tonight Looks Good On You are all prime examples of this .  They're all very different songs with different melodies but they've all got one thing in common -- they're about a good solid relationship.

I have two favorite songs on the album.  The first is the title track Old Boots, New Dirt -- it's all about experiencing new things in life while holding on to the important parts of your past.  It's about remembering the good times and being optimistic about the future. Love it!

The other one I think is a winner is If My Truck Could Talk.  It just speaks to all the things his trucks would know and could talk about if it could.  We all have our own secrets and if certain inanimate objects could talk, they'd spill the beans.

There are several other winners on the album including Tryin' To Love Me and Gonna Know We're Here.

The variety of music on this album keeps you on your toes and makes for great listening in the car.  I'd say this would be one to add to your collection for sure!
