After 6 Months Of Waiting, The NFL Is Back Tonight

The long drought known to us NFL fans as 'the offseason' ends in Canton, Ohio when the Buffalo Bills face the New York Giants in the annual 'Hall of Fame' game, the first preseason game, tonight at 7 PM CT on NBC (KARE-11).

One thing we'll see tonight, and during all games during the first two weeks of the preseason, is an NFL experiment with the extra point kick. As the NFL tries to find ways to make the extra-point more exciting, the PAT kicks will take place from the fifteen yard-line instead of the two yard-line.

The Vikings will see their first preseason action this Friday night (8/8) against the Oakland Raiders at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
