I've been getting my butt kicked at the gym lately. My body is so sore and I feel like a character from The Walking Dead. Anyone that tells you working out is easy or fun is wrong. It's hard work but it's worth it. I'm starting to get a craving for working out now. When I'm not at the gym, I'm thinking about how to incorporate working out into my regular routine.

My trainer gave me some good suggestions for workouts you can do from your desk or cubical. So, I decided to share some of Tanner's insight with you!

1. Lunges at your desk--Get into a lunge position and hold it for 30 seconds each, doing them in place. If this is easy for you, push yourself to hold a lunch for one minute.

2. Stand instead of sit--There are simple ways to turn a sit down desk into a stand up desk. While you're standing you can go a step further and lift yourself up to your toes and back down to your heels. If you do this for 30 seconds to a minute you'll feel it in your calf muscles.

3. Squats at your desk--This one is easy if you have a sit down desk. You can see how long you can hold a squat position while sending out your emails!

4. Wall sits--If your desk is close to a wall, take a break every once-in-a-while to do a wall sit for 30 seconds to 1 minute.

5. Stand to sits--This one is easy for anyone to do but does look a little strange. All you have to do is stand up and sit down. But, here's the catch--you have to have your arms crossed over your chest while you do this. You don't want to work your legs and back.
