Abbey's Eight-Person Group Halloween Costume [Pictures]

I spent the month of October organizing, sewing, and gluing together a group Halloween costume for my friends and myself. We had 10 people total at our house to celebrate the spooky holiday, and eight of us went as different Nintendo characters! Here is a list of the characters we had in our group:

Princess Peach
Mario
Luigi
Waluigi
Yoshi
King Boo
Shy Guy
Bowser
Toad (But that was my dog's costume so that doesn't really count.)

Most costumes were curated by myself. I created my own Princess Peach costume, Mario, Yoshi, King Boo, Shy Guy, and my dog's Toad outfit. A lot of costume pieces were custom made, and I did A LOT of hand sewing and gluing. I even went so far as to create a photo backdrop that went with the Nintendo theme. We didn't win the costume contest at the party we went to, but we all had a lot of fun and I am super proud of how our group turned out! Check out our costumes in more detail in the photos below!
