I spent some time at the Benton County Fair this week and decided to rank some of the most popular fair foods based on some specific criteria.

Criteria - awarding 5 points for each of the following:

  • Taste - What is the sensation of the initial bite, and does the flavor get old at then end of eating it?
  • Volume of product to cost ratio - Going for as much product possible, while spending the least money.
  • Shareability - Is it easy to share with your friends, or is it kinda nasty to?
  • Ease of eating - At the fair you are on the go. Can you easily walk around eating this snack?

Corn Dogs - 14 points
- Taste: 4
- Volume/Cost: 4
- Shareability: 1
- Ease of Eating: 5

Funnel Cakes - 12 points
- Taste: 3
- Volume/Cost: 3
- Shareability: 4
- Ease of Eating: 2

Cheese Curds - 16 points
- Taste: 5
- Volume/Cost: 1
- Shareability: 5
- Ease of Eating: 5

Mini Donuts - 14 points
- Taste: 4

- Taste: 5
