UNDATED - A quick moving system dropped a few inches of fresh snow on Central Minnesota this (Thursday) morning.

A few snow totals from the National Weather Service:  Avon had four inches, Foley three inches, 2.6 inches in Albany, and 2.5 inches in Sauk Rapids and Melrose, 1.7 inches in St. Cloud, and 1.4 inches in Little Falls.

The snow fell for a few hours, starting in the 7:00 a.m. hour, right during the morning commute.

Jesse Grabow with the Minnesota State Patrol says they responded to 32 crashes, with seven people reported with non life threatening injuries, and eight vehicles that slid off the roads on several highways, and on the interstate, during the height of the snowfall.
