98 Country September Veteran of the Month: Major John Donovan

Our September Veteran of the Month is United States Army Major John Donovan.  Thank you for serving our country and helping to maintain our freedom!

Major Donovan was nominated by his wife of 11 years, Leann.  Here's what she had to say about her husband:

My husband and I have been married 11 years now and in that time he has been deployed three times - once to Bosnia and twice to Iraq.

John received his commission as an officer shortly before 9/11 and a few months after that fateful day he was placed on active duty and has continued to be almost every day since.

John is active in the community and has worked with the Warrior to Citizen Group in St. Cloud since 2007. He has also served as an adviser to St. Cloud State University on veterans issues. John works full-time at Camp Ripley as the Chief of the Visitors Bureau.
