“One Day at a Time” is written by Marijohn Wilken and Kris Kristofferson and recorded by Marilyn Sellars.   Sellars was born in Northfield, Minnesota in 1944.  The song reached number 19 on the Country Chart in 1974.

Jan Dyer and Jeff Tweel wrote “Every Time Two Fools Collide.”  Recorded as a duet by Kenny Rogers and Dottie West.  The song reached number one on the country chart.

Garth Brooks – “The River” -- 1992

 

 

Victoria Shaw and Garth Brooks wrote “The River.”  It was released in April 1992 and became Brooks' 9th number one hit.

“My Maria” is written by B.W. Stevenson and Daniel Moore.  When Brooks and Dunn released a cover version of the song in 1996, the song topped the chart at number one.
