Shipwreck Survivor Speaks Today in St. Cloud
Twenty-nine crewmen were on the ore boat Daniel J. Morrell, when it broke in half and sank in Lake Huron during a huge storm on November 29, 1966. One man lived to tell the tale of what happened. Today, he's in town to tell that tale.
Special Guest Author, Dennis Hale, "Shipwrecked" Reflections of the Sole Survivor, will be at the St. Cloud Eagles Club (on 8th Street, Veterans Drive, & MN Highway 15) to talk about his experiences today, Tuesday, June 26.
Great River Authors Group of St. Cloud is sponsoring a local book fair and a free book raffle throughout the afternoon starting at 2:00 pm and Dennis will speak at 7:00 pm.
