Meet Katlyn Gilbert. She is a very talented girls basketball player. Nothing terribly unusual about that, except Katlyn is already making plans for her basketball/college future. And she hasn't even started high school yet!

In fact, according to the Indianapolis Star, Gilbert has even made up her mind. Katlyn has committed to play for Evansville after her college decision was cleared by her mother.

Is 13 too young to make such an important decision? A lot can change between now and then, but maybe it's okay to have some lofty goals in place to make you strive harder. What do you think? Would you let your son or daughter make a commitment this young?
