DENVER - The St. Cloud State men's hockey team scored five unanswered goals to steamroll Denver 5-2 Friday night.

The Huskies trailed 2-0 in the second period. Blake Winiecki and Kalle Kossila then scored to tie the game 2-2. Joey Benik added the game winner in the third period with his ninth goal of the season.

Kossila scored a second goal and the Huskies completed the night with a goal by David Morley later in the period. Charlie Lindgren collected 17 saves in the action.

The Huskies will face off against Denver again on Saturday night. Puck drop is at 8:07 p.m. CT.
