4th Annual ‘Thanks For Freedom’ Ride & Concert This Saturday
This Saturday, May 31st, I’ll be riding with hundreds of veterans and their families, friends, and neighbors — climbing on their motorcycles to ride for freedom. Don’t have a bike? No problem. It’s still a great day to show our area veterans the thanks and support they deserve.
Registration for the ride begins at the St. Augusta Legion between 7:30 & 8:45 am. The bikes depart around 9 am and head to the Eagles Healing Nest in Sauk Centre for lunch and music. Then it’s on to the St. Cloud VA where you’ll enjoy an outdoor concert.
If you want to be part of this amazing event — grab your friends and head over to the VA by 1:00 pm. It will be around that time that hundreds of bikes will be riding into town and up the long driveway of the St. Cloud VA. It will be a great opportunity to see many veterans coming together for other vets; and great place for you to show your support.
After the St. Cloud VA those interested will head to the Clearwater Legion to wrap up the day with more live music, food, and fun.
There will be $10 bike registration fee to help cover the expenses of the event. Any additional proceeds go to the ongoing fight against homelessness of veterans. Gilleland Chevrolet in St. Cloud will cover your $10 registration if you test drive a vehicle this week.
They’ll also cover your $10 fee if you buy a vehicle, get a Quick Lube oil change + tire rotation, or a Quick Lube auto detail package of at least $50.
