With December on the horizon and the holidays drawing near you might be worried about how "nice" your kids are. All kids have good and bad days, but there are a few things you can do to try for more good days than bad this coming month!

  1.  Change a friend's name in your phone to "Santa" - Have them send a message "checking in" on the kiddos or have them send a threatening message if they are being naughty!
  2. Take them to meet Santa early - That'll give them a clear picture in their head of who they are dealing with. Meeting Santa in person makes the "Nice List" seem a lot more real!
  3. Elf on a Shelf - Or some variation of it. Sure it is extra work to move an elf around your house every night, but if it keeps your kids on their best behavior it's worth it! And no one said you have to go all "perfect-Pinterest-parent" on it. It doesn't need to be extravagant.
  4. Sticker Charts - Make a calendar of the month of December. Buy two different types of stickers. Nice days get nice stickers. Naughty for naughty. Tell your kids you have to mail the chart into Santa just a couple days before Christmas and that's what he judges their presents off of!
