While most will be thinking it's way to early to start thinking about the 2014 NFL Draft (and they're right), we Vikings fans might be more inclined to take a peek (along with Jaguars, Steelers, and Raiders fans). Two guys at CBS Sports.com have taken an early look at how they think it would play out. Surprise; they both have the Vikes taking a QB in the 1st round.

Rob Rang and Dane Brugler first agreed on a draft order, which has the Jacksonville Jaguars picking first, and the Vikings with the 7th overall pick (behind Philadelphia, NY Giants, Pittsburgh, Oakland, Tampa Bay, and the Jaguars).

Then they each individually mocked up how they think the draft would play out. Jacksonville's overall #1 pick was agreed upon by the two: Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

The next QB to go in their mock is Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota. Brugler has Maritoa going to Tampa with the second pick, Rang has him falling to #6, and going to Philly (which would reunite him with his old college coach Chip Kelly).

After that, they agree the Vikings will be the third team to take a round-one quarterback, but they disagree on who Minnesota would select with the seventh overall pick. Rang has the Vikes taking UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley. Brugler thinks it would be Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd.

Keep in mind, Texas A&M quarterback Johhny Manziel would still be available at this point.

By the way, their draft order suggests that Denver beats Seattle in the Super Bowl.

Ok, back to reality. Later.
