The #2 St. Cloud State Men's Hockey team (9-1-0) completed the weekend sweep of #5 University of Denver with a 4-3 win Saturday night in St. Cloud.

The Huskies trailed 2-1 entering the second period, with SCSU's lone first period goal coming from Nick Perbix (1). The Huskies scored twice in the second period thanks to goals from Blake Lizotte (3) and Easton Brodzinski (5). The Pioneers added a late goal in the second, leaving the score knotted at 3-3 entering the third period.

Husky Kevin Fitzgerald (3) scored the game's only third period goal to lift St. Cloud State to the 4-3 win.

The Huskies out shot the Pioneers 41-18, with David Hrenak in the net for SCSU recording 15 saves -- lifting his season record in the net at 7-0-0.
