Tomorrow marks the 112th anniversary of the mysterious disappearance of the SS Bannockburn. It was a Canadian freighter that set sail for the last time on on a cold November day on Lake Superior.

A November storm hit the area pretty hard that night and the ghost ship never made it to Georgian Bay.

The crazy thing about this disappearance is that the ship, along with the crew of 20 were never found. In 112 years, no wreckage from the ship has ever been identified or that of the bodies from the men on board. People often refer to the SS Bannockburn as a ghost ship. Others have called it, "The Flying Dutchman of the Great Lakes."

What's even weirder is that another ship had reported seeing the Bannockburn around noon that day before it drifted off into the fog. That's the last time anyone would see the ship again.
