A ten-year-old Plymouth girl with a terminal disease got a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to meet her idol on Saturday.

Ten-year-old Madi Ellefson was diagnosed with Atexia Telangiectasia (AT) when she was 16 months old. It's a neuromuscular disease that has put her in a wheel chair.

Madi's mom, Ashley, says it has been a dream of Madi's to meet country star Jason Aldean. On Saturday night, Aldean's Burn It Down tour made a stop at Target Field, Minneapolis, where he performed with country music superstar Kenny Chesney.

Minnesota's New Country, with the help Broken Bow Records, was able to make Madi's dream of meeting Jason Aldean come true.

Ashley said, "we were taken through the bowels of the stadium 30 minutes before the meet and greet started due to Madi's wheel chair."

While they were waiting they heard someone yell, "Stop the cart! Ashley says the voice was country star Brantley Gilbert who was riding around on a golf cart. He saw Madi and her mom waiting and wanted to meet them. Ashley says it was a very nice surprise. Gilbert said that he hoped she would enjoy the show and was glad that she came.

When Madi finally met Jason Aldean, her mom says she was so excited. "She made him two superman key chains and he was very appreciative of those." Madi's medical condition makes it hard for her to stand but she wanted a picture with the singer without her wheel chair. Jason Aldean and her mom helped her stand up and pose for a picture.

Madi got one last surprise from one of Kenny Chesney's guitar players before she left. He played a few bars of a Kenny Chesney song for her and signed and gave her the guitar pick.

"Thanks to everyone who made this happen. It was a dream come true for her," Ashley said.
